Is furniture-walking ok for independent but frail 92 yo? she doesn't call aides to help ambulate. so is it better to have sturdy furniture near or far

Falling: The only issue here is the risk of a fall with hip fracture. If she is steady on her feet, she should be allowed to walk. If a walker, quad cane, or cane would be helpful, it should be considered. Sturdy furniture nearby may help. Avoid loose carpeting. If she is unsteady and not aware enough to know it, she will need constant watching.
