A member asked:

Is it normal for a 21 year old woman to have hott flashes non stop?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No, it is not normal: Even for a woman actively suffering from menopause, she should not have "hot-flashes-nonstop" hot flushes are caused by imbalance of the autonomic (sympathetic vs parasympathetic systems)--when parasympathetic overriding, then sweating occurs (the flushes). But these episodes run-out shortly and back to normal. You may want to check with doc to make sure u r not having hyperthyroidism. Good luck.
