See the gynecologist: Infertility is defined as one year of unprotected intercourse without achieving pregnancy. We usually begin work up for women at this point and sooner for women 35 and over. Do not lose hope. Sometimes it is very simple to treat and sometimes it requires more work but there is always hope.
