How to cure a swollen eyelid caused by an insect bite ?

Patience: Most insect bite related swelling on an eyelid will reach a peak within a day or so & gradually disappear whether you do anything or not. A dose of diphengydramine (benedryl) at 1mg/kg every 6 hours may be helpful if there is itching involved.
