What to do in case of cough?

More than a cold?: If some cough is just from a mild cold, then the over-the-counter cold medicines are what people usually find relief with. However, some illnesses such as asthma, allergies, strep throat and "the flu" also have these same cough symptoms, but can be treated by a doctor with additional medicines. A doctor's evaluation can be helpful.

Cough: I agree with dr. Kwok. Mix hot water, 1 tsp. Lemon juice & 1 tsp. Honey in a mug, then add more lemon juice or honey to taste, if desired. Sip the mixture slowly and inhale the steam from the hot liquid to help reduce congestion in the chest. Or make tea with 2 tsp of marshmallow root bark per 1cup of hot water (steep in a covered pot for at least 5 minutes). Cont'd.
