Confusing question: A baby born prematurely at 34 weeks can happen vaginally or by c-section and may be necessary if your membranes rupture early or you develop complications that risk either mom or baby. At 34 wks the baby has >50% risk of admission to a nicu for breathing difficulties & other complications.
