Yes.: Although we do not as yet have a vaccine for prevention of alzheimer, genetic tests (for those with an affected parent) may predict a person's chances of having alzheimer's. Avoidance of alcohol, regular exercise, treating depression, eating lots of berries and high education may be preventive. Maintain contact with family and friends.

Yes?: To my knowledge there are no medication u can take to prevent it. And usualy this is more common with family history . At increased however, the healthier u brein the less likely u can get alzheimer's .U can try what they call the " six pillars of brain healthy style".Active social life , stress management, quality sleep, regular exersize, healthy diet and. Mental stimulation.
