A member asked:

Could i get night sweats from getting a bacterial infection ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Bacterial infections cause fevers which as they cycle can cause night sweats. There are other things that can, but yes, bacterial infections can too. If you have been diagnosed with one, and the night sweats came at about the same time, then the antibiotic should help. If not, make sure you follow up immediately.
