A member asked:

Can you get a bacterial sinus infection from changing a cat litter box?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unlikely: In most cases the worst that could happen is a bit of irritation from the litter dust. Unless you are pregnant or immunocompromised. Then definitely stay away from the cat litter. There is a nasty critter in cat waste called toxoplasma that is dangerous in that setting.
