Yes and no: Some patients may have a gritty feeling in their joint. This is usually due to adhesions or scarring. However, if the joint feels like it is getting stuck, you should discuss this with your surgeon.

Not necessarily : I would go back to the surgeon who performed the arthroscopy (also called arthroscopic surgery) to get some answers. You may need additional tmj/tmd treatment. Don't hesitate!
