It is possible: Referred pain from the l5-s1 region can be to the groin but so can a hip problem, a sacroiliac joint problem as well as a hernia. See your surgeon to assess whether you have achieved a fusion and to rule out other issues.

X-ray results showed- advanced L5-S1 degenerative disc disease, moderate facet in lower lumbar spine, L5-S1 4mm retrolistnesis and moderate sclerosis ?
