Help for depression: Dr smith's response is outstanding. I very much agree w recommendations for evaluation if indicated & the need to interact w others. There are many things that you can do to lift a depressed mood. A dr can provide treatment such as cognitive behavioral therapy or meds but here are things you can do: 1. Exercise aerobically - better yet, do it outdoors. 2. Consider yoga , tai chi or acupuncture.
