Is it ok to ice area for injection of levenox to decrease discomfort or will it affect the effectiveness of medication?

It's ok: That's ok - no problem. The area will warm up after the ice is removed and the Lovenox (enoxaparin) is given under the top layers of skin and tissue as a Depo-Provera shot.
