I went to my ent dr today and he useda stethoscope on the upper part if my chest. what was he doing?

Listening: He was listening to your heart and lungs. The very upper part of your lungs are best heard on the front of your chest, right above the collar bones. He could have also been listening to the carotid arteries in your neck.
