Need to see Doc.: Chest tightness may suggest bronchial asthma, chronic sinus infection, polyps etc/ certainly a viral infection that spreads to the lung can cause chest tightness and wheezing. Respiratory evaluation, exam and spirometry is necessary. Saline nasal lavage and bronchodilators prescribed by your doc may help.
