Criss-crossed: All true cysts are abnormal, epithelially-lined, closed, fluid-filled structures. Some are tumors, some are developmental problems, some have other causes. If there are multiple echoes, the cyst is crisscrossed by sometime, perhaps sheets that may make it harder to aspirate the contents all at once; it may be a group of many little cysts.
