DASH diet: A diet plan proven to lower blood pressue is called the dash diet, which stands for dietary approaches to stopping hypertension. It mainly consists of lots of fruits and vegetables, low-fat dairy products, and lean meats. Combine this with low salt, limited alcohol, and regular exercise. Veggies: What's not good to eat is too much salt and alcohol. What is good to eat are a good assortment of fruits and vegetables. Easy on the protein; meat, fish, cheese. Exercise too. Watch your weight. Sometimes you can control BP without pills, but don't be proud. Take them if you need them. Hope that's helpful. It's not easy to control your appetites, but it feels good to at least keep trying.
