A member asked:

My mother suffering from parkinson's from last 20years .the disease is permanently curable or not?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not curable.: Parkinsons disease (pd) is for life. Usually progressive. Medicines & even deep brain stimulation may affect symptoms but there is no cure. Maybe when stem cell therapy is perfected, pd will be cured.
