By growing on or : Cancer can affect the bones of the spine leading to deformity or a fracture compressing the spinal cord or the cancer can grow about the spinal cord and enlarge placing compression like a disc herniation or spinal stenosis or even grow fron within the spinal cord leading to compression effects.
