A member asked:

I have had crps in my right leg for 13 months. i am scheduled to have a tibial nerve stimulator next month. is this a good idea?

I'm skeptical: Crps, if that diagnosis is correct, generally worsens after invasive treatment of any kind on the affected limb. Painful partial nerve injuries, which do not result in crps may be alleviated, but not cured, by peripheral nerve stimulation. Either you or your doctor has the wrong diagnosis because crps & limb surgery don't go well together.

Hard to say: Obviously your doctor has discussed this option with you. I would discuss your concerns with him/her.
