I am 62 year old woman , i have been on sertraline for 4 months and i want to stop taking it because im gaining weight and other things , how can i stop?

Talk to physician: I really suggest you discuss these concerns with your own physician, who knows you & your case. There must have been a reason zoloft (sertraline) was prescribed, and symptoms could come back if it's stopped too soon. If you are dissatisfied with zoloft (sertraline), your doctor can review your situation & consider other effective treatments that might be less likely to produce weight gain.
