Hip surgery: Any surgery carries risks. Risks include infection, bleed, react to anesthesia, blood clots, death, nerve damage. Hip replacement risks also include fracture, dislocation, loosening, leg length inequality, among others. Fracture surgery can include malunion, nonunion, and hardware problems.
