You shouldn't lift: A broken wrist or forearm should be immobilized and not used until healed. To do otherwise could cause poor healing or a deformity. Be patient, treat it properly and you'll be back at full strength at no time.

Do not.: Too much stress on a broken bone can cause a non union, which means that your bone will never heal properly. Do not lift weights with your hands while having a broken wrist/forearn bone.

Get help: You should not lift with the fractured arm. Your choices would either be to just use the other arm alone, and/or get someone to help.
