Not really: As osteoporosis is defined by DXA scanning. Blood and urine tests can aid the diagnosis if there is fast bone turnover. Talk to your doctor.

Imaging: Other imaging procedures such as x-ray or ct can be suggestive of osteoporosis. Dxa uses T-score to better quantify and follow bone density.
