Yes and no...: Certainly crusty eyes is a sign of problems and can cause difficulty wearing your contacts. This symptom can be caused by many things. An ophthalmologist can help you figure out what is going on and solve the problem. Long eyelashes are generally considered a blessing and I do not think they are a cause of trouble with contact lens wear in general.
