Allergen: Any allergen that causes nasal congestion, inflammation could trigger a sinusitis and possibly a sinus infection. I wouldn't suspect that being briefly exposed to fiberglass fibers would put you at any higher risk for sinus infection than being exposed to cigarette smoke.
