A member asked:

I have been exposed to fiberglass fibers that were on my vehicle. can it cause sinus infections?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Allergen: Any allergen that causes nasal congestion, inflammation could trigger a sinusitis and possibly a sinus infection. I wouldn't suspect that being briefly exposed to fiberglass fibers would put you at any higher risk for sinus infection than being exposed to cigarette smoke.
