Yes: Sinus infection can cause headaches (which can lead to nausea, vomitting), dizziness, this is because of inflammation and possible fluid build up in the sinuses, however if confusion gets worse, this needs to be evaluated.

Yes: Yes it can, i would recommend drinking plenty of water and try using saline nasal spray, decongestants, over the counter pain relievers, and possible antibiotics.
