I am a 70 year old woman blood pressure usually 140/70. take 100mg of lorsarten. md wants to add bystolic (nebivolol) 2, 5 mg. why and what is effect or danger?

See below: If your BP at home is usually 140/70 you may need a bit better control of bp. Bystolic (nebivolol) is a good but expensive med. Could consider Metoprolol Succinate as a good alternative.
