A member asked:

I have been diagnosed with an inner ear disturbance at a distisorder clinic my symptoms are feeling out of balance dizzy nauseated at times fatigued they recommended physical therapy there has to be something else that can help me ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Diagnosis: If appropriate objective vestibular function tests have documented an inner disorder, then physical therapy by a therapist trained in vestibular rehabilitation can be very helpful. Usually inner disorders resolve in time. Depending on who made the diagnosis, ent vs. Neurologist, there may be more specific therapy. If an ENT made the diagnosis, then a consultation with that person may help.
