Costochondritis: It might be costochondritis. But keep in mind that no test is 100% accurate so you may need to repeat one of those tests if your symptoms persist.

Anterior rib pain: Pain or tenderness to palpation usually anteriorly, affect multiple ribs usually 5th to 7th, worsened with coughing, deep breathing, or physical activity .Costochondritis may be treated with physical therapy or with nonsteroidal medication .The symptoms are usually self limited. Severe form with pain and swelling named tietze syndrome. Many other causes of chest pain can occur.
