Is there anything you can use over-the-counter for itching due to primary biliary cirrhosis?

Possibly: Bathing in colloidal oatmeal (much more finely ground than what you eat for breakfast) and using skin moisturizers may help. Cold packs placed over the skin may soothe the itching. If okay with your doctor & your other medicines, you might consider using milk thistle -- check with doctor first. Some antihistamines are available otc, but may also make you drowsy. Don't smoke.
