My home pregnancy test showed a faint line. am i pregnant?

Most likely yes: Home urine pregnancy tests are very accurate, so a faint positive line means a woman is pregnant. Her primary care doctor can do another test to confirm the pregnancy, and then her ob-gyn doctor can begin prenatal care.

False positive: It may be too early to tell. If you're > than a week after your missed period, it may be a false positive and should be repeated after another week. A serum test would be more accurate and could be done right now.
