Monostat: No. Monostat is prescribed for candida vaginitis. For uti, will need evaluation by your primary doctor, urine culture analysis and likely oral antibiotics.

Agree with Dr. J: You could have both URI and vaginitis, if that happens to be the case, you may use monostat but will need additional treatment for UTI.
