Many ways: Classic is cerbellar atrophy affecting coordination and balance. Also, may see general atrophy with multiple cognitive issues. Wernicke-korsakoff can cause short-term memory loss, and behavioural changes. Epilepsy can also develop. The valium issues are rather milder, but habituation, sedation, seizures upon stopping may be seen.
