A member asked:

Is aderal just as dangerous as ecstacy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) is not just as dangerous as ecstacy. Mdma can produce confusion, depression, sleep problems, drug craving, and severe anxiety. Chronic users show impairment on cognitive or memory tasks. Studies in nonhuman primates showed exposure to mdma for 4 days caused damage to serotonin nerve terminals that was still evident 6 to 7 years later, with similar damage thought to occur in humans.
