A member asked:

Symptoms of a nervous break down and is this the same as a panic attack?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sometimes: "nervous breakdown" is not a medical term and the signs of a nervous breakdown can vary from one person to the next and depend on the underlying cause. Generally, it means that a person is no longer able to function normally. Someone who was having severe panic attacks could qualify as one example.
