Chemical burns: Barring necessary neutralization of the chemical, these burns are treated the same way as other burns. Leave the blister intact (can drain with single poke from sterilized needle), keep moist with Bacitracin or better bactroban, (mupirocin) and keep covered until healed.

Wound care: Using a variety of agents including topicsl Hydrocortisone and sunscreen with silicone gel sheeting may be beneficial. More agressive treatment may be required depending on the depth of the burn.
