What can be done for your child's eczema?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Skin moisturizers : Eczema is considered a chronic skin condition which is not curable, but treatable. It tends to get worse during dry/colder weath and better with warmer and more humid temperature. Keep skin moist, avoid excessive cleansing/scrubbing/hot bath/showers etc...Generous use of skin lotion helps. At times, topical meds/steroids, or oral medications may be needed. Consult your doc. Good luck.
