Depends on cause: You should see your dentist to determine the cause. Most common are viral and go away in 10 - 14 days. You can ease the pain somewhat with warm salt water rinses 3 - 5 times / day. You could have other conditions which need more treatment. Go get checked if they don't resolve in 2 weeks.

HERPES LABIALIS: And gingivostomatitis are painful lesions in the mouth relieved by putting zylocaine viscous directly on the lesions by swabs or mouth rinse before meals. Viral creams can also be used.

Laser Treatment: A way to get rid of sores in your mouth is to have your dentist perform a laser treatment on the sore, which is not painful and takes about 10-15 minutes for the sore to be treated and removed. Also, if you are unable to go into the dentist office, you can swish with an alcoholic mouthwash twice per day to clean the area and help the sore heal.

Not sure what the: sores are. There is not much info to go on here. Try gargling with warm salt water. If they are not resolving, seek medical assessment.
