Not if tested: If you we're diagnosed from a chlamydia test collected by your doc, then no. The chlamydia test actually tests for the chlamydia genetic material so it is certain. If someone told you it was chlamydia without a test, then it is possible. The symptoms of chlamydia and herpes can sometimes be similar if the herpes is primarily on the cervix.

It should not happen: But it is possible to have both at the same time, and depending on the lab both can be cultured form the same swab , but they are 2 differnet organisms.
