Same as winter: The frequency if differing viral & bacterial infections that cause throat pain varies over the seasons.However, most germs are present in sporadic numbers year round. Flu as a cause of throat pain may cluster in nov-feb but occurs worldwide all year long. Strep throat is present continuously.
