Doxepin: This is an older tricyclic antidepressant -- so one effect is help with depression. But also there can be dry mouth, sedation (sleepiness), constipation, difficulty urinating, blurry vision, excessive sweating, etc. Small doses can help with sleep. New low-dose form called "silenor" got specific fda approval for this.
