Rest: 3 things to consider: rest, motion, position. 1) you want to rest the rotator cuff and allow it to calm down (limit overhead activities), 2) keep the range of motion with gentle stretching against a wall, on a tabletop, or in bed, 3) strengthen the shoulder blade muscles so that your posture and shoulder position is not constantly inflamming the rotator cuff.
