Varied: Infections may present very subtly in the elderly. At times the only symptom maybe poor oral intake or confusion. The typical sinusitis symptoms of facial pain, fever and purulent nasal drainage maybe less or absent; there usually will be nasal congestion and drainage; there maybe a cough. If there was a nasogastric tube for feeding , the incidence of sinusitis is higher
