If i kiss someone with mono, then drink liquor, could it kill the germs?

Unlikely prevention: Mononucleosis is caused by the epstein-barr virus (ebv). The trouble with killing ebv is that it is not alive to begin with. The virus takes over cells, reproduces and infects others. Ebv is spread by saliva or blood. If anything, alcohol consumption might lower your immune response and allow ebv to have a greater chance to spread. To avoid mono, don't kiss people suspected of having it.
