Drainage, pain, HL: Ruptured eardrums typically present with drainage and pain due to the perforation. Hearing loss due to the opening in the ear drum can also be a part of it. If you suspect this, a specialist should evaluate the ear when possible.

Pain, bleeding: A ruptured eardrum hurts as it is rupturing, then bleeding or drainage from the ear is noted. You will also notice a blocked or clogged sensation due to the decrease in hearing the perforation causes. If this happens see an ear specialist!
