Pain,Bleeding,infect: Tonsils are there and their role is to defend body against infection if you have tonsils in the post operation period you may feel pain, there may be bleeding which can be severe in some cases, chance of infection, ear ache and bad taste in mouth. There are no long term effects on immunity.
