Depends: Depends on the kind of abnormality. Saying the ekg is abnormal is like saying a car is abnormal. Bad color? Bad upholstery? That's not the same as bad transmission or bad brakes. Regardless, it would be hard to tie the ekg, body weight and diet together. These are likely separate issues. Please find out the abnormality and post again for a more specific answer.

Depends on the EKG : The ekg can pick up both congenital and acquired abnormalities in the heart rhythm or point to a structural issue with the heart. The findings should be discussed with the physician who ordered the test or the one who interpreted the reading.

Totally depends: There are hundreds of kinds of abnormality, all due to different things. Can you be specific? If it was not read by a doctor, the machine reading can be wrong--as a result of where the leads are placed on your chest, thin chest wall, young age, etc--so ask your doctor who ordered the test to explain. It might just need a repeat.
