I have cysts on my ovaries, what are the side effects of them not being treated?

Depends: Some ovarian cysts will resolve spontaneously or with medication like the pill. Other may need surgical intervention due to their size or type. Larger cyst may rupture or undergo torsion (twisting) and cause considerable pain. Consult your md about what is best for you.
