Much like flu: Fever, muscle aches, fatigue ....unfortunately much like many other illnesses. That is why it is so difficult to diagnose early unless you are thinking about it, looking for it and have the means to do the blood test needed to confirm it.

See below: Patients with Ebola disease experience no symptoms until 2-21(usually 8-12)days after exposure. Symptoms begin abruptly with a Flu-like illness: high fever, headache, chills, pain in muscles of the trunk and low back. Cough and sore throat are often present. Gastrointestinal symptoms and, in some cases rash, develop several days later. The patient is not contagious until the start of symptoms.
